In 1976, Richard Bush saw a need for affordable, alternative home heating sources due to the energy crisis. He started Bush’s Fireplace on the front porch of his rural North Jackson home selling wood and anthracite coal home heating products. The decades have come and gone bringing many changes to the hearth industry and to Bush’s Fireplace as well. From the humble beginnings of wood and coal stoves, we now continue to provide those products as well as gas burning products, glass doors, and fireplace / stove accessories and maintenance products.
